This project reimagines Overtown, Miami as a civic and recreational landscape that restores programs once central to its everyday life. The design reintroduces urban farms, theaters, galleries, and a farmer market as social infrastructures that support food access, local economies, and cultural production. These elements are not treated as isolated amenities, but as devices that reconnect public life to Overtown's cultural history and soften the fragmented urban fabric. Urban farms provide productive open space and fresh produce, while theaters and galleries offer platforms for local performance and exhibition. The farmer market operates as a recurring civic event that strengthens social ties and supports small businesses. Together, these programs aim to rebuild collective identity, belonging, and resilience in the neighborhood.
